My family finally got satellite TV when we moved to Goderich and we had to get the package with the hunting and fishing network.  As we watched the shows that the network was playing I started getting down on myself.  The hunters were passing up bucks and bears that I would never see in my lifetime.  I would be happy to shoot a doe, let alone a buck of any size!  I mentioned this discouragement to Dad and he started to see this too.  He got to thinking, and he decided that he wanted to put a TV show out there, showing the reality of hunting…which is that not all trophies are measured by the size of the rack, but by the memories that are created in the field.

Just Us Hunting is my dad’s “baby” that showcases real hunters; people who work 9-5, don’t pass up button bucks waiting for the trophy buck, people who use their holidays to hunt and respect the conservation of the great outdoors.

Most of my adventures stem from trying to film for Just Us Hunting, which is going on air in January of 2012!!
